Research and collaboration

FICAN East aims to promote cancer research and researcher collaboration, as well as increase the role of research in the treatment of patients.

These aims are advanced by the FICAN East Scientific Working Group and the national FICAN Science group.

The high quality research conducted in the Eastern collaborative area includes basic research, translational research and clinical research on various cancer types.

In addition, there are numerous cancer clinical trials ongoing in the Eastern collaborative area. You can find a list of open cancer clinical trials within the area here: Recruiting cancer clinical trials.
