The treatment of a cancer patient is always planned individually. Treatment is often carried out in a multidisciplinary manner, during which it combines the expertise of several specialties. Decisions on treatment are always done together with the patient.

Rehabilitation, nutrition and psychosocial support are also important parts of treatment. The need for support is individual and can vary between different phases of the illness.
